Changing the Receival Location of a Rejected Load
Changing the Receival Location of a Rejected Load

How to change the drop off location if a receival facility rejects your load.

Updated over a week ago

If for whatever reason a receival facility wants to reject a load of waste both the facility and the transporter will need to make edits to the movement in IWTS.

1 - Firstly, the receival facility must 'reject' the movement, this is done by the organisation that administers the facilities account - they should select the rejected movement in their list of movements and then select 'Cancel'.

The receival facility should select "Rejected" as the cancellation reason.

2 - You as the transporter can see the update with "cancelled" in your movement list - now select this movement.

3 - From the movement summary page of the cancelled movement now select 'Copy'

4 - In the copy movement screen change the drop off location then select 'Copy'.

The details of the movement up until point of drop off will have now been copied across and all that's left to do is go through the steps and confirm the information is correct, being sure to update the drop off location details (contact name, number, and email).

5 - When the driver reaches the new receival facility they can confirm drop off as usual.
