Note: The role that your organisation plays in the movement process will determine the steps that are either editable or simply viewable.

Each step in a movement has configured permissions as to which participants roles can view and/or edit a step. These permissions will likely be different based on the material type, the origin state and the destination state of the movement.

Within the movement process, each step has written underneath the title which participants are able to add data to that step.

Depending on what your role or roles are in the movement, the buttons in each movement step are either:

  • Blue 'Add Details'

  • Grey 'View'

  • Or, for the final step a blue 'Submit'

Steps will be locked for editing until the previous step has been completed.

After completing a step in the movement process the numbering next to each step turns from grey to blue to indicate the progress, and the blue 'Add Details' button changes to a grey 'View / Discrepancies' button.

Note: The View/Discrepancies button is only available if you have editing rights that step, this button allows you to go into the step and make changes which will be recorded as discrepancies.
