How to Cancel or Terminate a Movement Authorisation?

If you no longer require a Movement Authorisation, there are two options to choose from.

Cancelling a Movement Authorisation

1 - From the Movement grid, identify the Movement Authorisation you wish to cancel and click to open up the summary page.

2 - Locate and select the Cancel button on the Movement Authorisation details widget. It will open up a field to enter reasons for cancelling the Movement Authorisation.

Note: Only Movement Authorisations with an "In Progress" status can be cancelled. "Approved" Movement Authorisations will need to be Terminated.

3 - Write your reason in the text box that appears below. After you have done this, select the Cancel Movement Authorisation button to cancel. Remember that cancelled Movement Authorisations cannot be reactivated.

Users can identify who cancelled a movement authorisation, ensuring transparency with details like the responsible organisation, user email address and timestamp.


Terminating a Movement Authorisation

1 - Similar to cancelling a Movement Authorisation, click into the Movement Authorisation from the Movement Authorisation grid.

2 - Locate and select the Terminate button on the Movement Authorisation details widget. It will open up a field to enter reasons for Terminating the Movement Authorisation.

Note: Only Movement Authorisations with an "Approved" status can be Terminated. "In Progress" Movement Authorisations will need to be Cancelled.

3 - Write your reason in the text box that appears below. After you have done this, select the Terminate Movement Authorisation button to Terminate. Remember that Terminated Movement Authorisations cannot be reactivated.

Users can identify who terminated a movement authorisation, ensuring transparency with details like the responsible organisation, user email address and timestamp.
