Creating a Movement from a Movement Authorisation

How to create a movement from an approved Movement Authorisation.

Note: Movement Authorisation is currently only available in Sandbox learning environment to registered users. To register to have access and learn the new functionality, register here.

1 - Click on the 'Movement Authorisations' button .

2 - Select the approved Movement Authorisation that you wish to create a movement from:

3 - Select the 'Create Movement from _____' button.

4 - Check the details are correct and then press Continue.

5 – Your movement will have now been created, and you will be brought to the movement summary screen. Select the ‘Add Details’ button next to step one of the movement process section.

6 - Check through the following pages of information that have been automatically populated based off of the Movement Authorisation, amend any information as required.

7 - The subsequent steps in the movement process should be completed by the relevant participant e.g. consignor, transporter. The steps and the participants required to complete them may differ depending on the material and regulators involved.

8 - Once all of the steps of the movement process have been completed the movement will be submitted to the regulator.
