Important: We have disabled the ability to copy movement authorisations created or approved before the system update on 09/12/2024. Operators can still use existing movement authorisations to create movements. However, if a movement authorisation has expired or requires updated details, operators will need to create a new movement authorisation from scratch, as copying an existing one before the system update is no longer possible.
To create multiple Movement Authorisations (MA) from an existing and approved MA, go into Movement Authorisations, select the Movement you would like to copy, and click the COPY button beneath the Movement Authorisation details.
β
This will create a duplicate of that MA as well as its details. You can then review the specific details of each new copy and make necessary changes. You can create more copies once these changes are made by selecting COPY.
The option to subsequently add more copies of MA's will also be available under the details of each new Movement Authorisation.

Interstate Movement Authorisations
When creating copies of interstate Movement Authorisations, it is important to note the Material ID. Material IDs are specific to States, so if in the new copy of the interstate Movement Authorisation you are selecting a different pick-up state, you will need to select a Material ID matching the pick-up state.
Note: you can only have one waste type per Movement Authorisation. For each copy of the Movement Authorisation β you can select or edit the waste type keeping the pick-up state in mind.
Disabled Copy
The button to copy will be disabled if you do not have permission or the ability to copy. These can fall under the following reasons:
Only the organisation that created the movement authorisation can copy the movement authorisation.
You cannot copy a movement authorisation if the material or location has been archived
